End of Holiday Fun

I love the break, just because we have no schedule and can accomplish so much at our own pace.
Poor Kyle was sick the whole last week of break. Not so fun for him.
Eric stayed busy fixing up his Mom's place and cleaned the garage.
I stayed busy, organizing, cleaning, reading, making cards, movies and doing the things I love.
Courtney wished she could drive so she could be going constantly.
Poor girl is most like her Mom.

I love to get with Trudy and Sandy and makes cards.
The kids do there own thing and we play all day.
This has and will always be one of my favorite things to do.
I am so grateful for my friends.

Kyle also turned 17. I am still in denial that all my kids are growing up.
He wanted free Joe's BBQ, and bread pudding at Liberty. Makes for a cheap birthday dinner.
We of course made BTS and I forgot to buy candles.
Scares me because that means I am getting old. YUCK!!!!

Roller skating and dinner at Oreganos with the Verplankes. Always a fun time.

Family get togethers and game nights are my most favorite thing to do.

After learning from Nicolls how to make tamales I taught Kathy, Lisa and Suzi. We did a very good job. I think this will become a new tradition.
And I love going to the movies, drama, girlie movies and the silly kid ones. I had to take a picture with the Chipmunks because they were my favorite growing up. Since I have no little kids I have no one to go with anymore and have to wait for the video but I will watch it.

We will all return to reality tomorrow but I hope that we can cherish our special moments and remember the importance of taking little moments to get us through the tough times.
This holiday comes but once a year, but we can take time throughout the year to build and make memories. Thanks to all of my friends and family for being a part of my life. I am so very thankful for each of you and the part you play in my life.
