Thanksgiving Weekend

So the Janda's didn't have the traditional Thanksgiving weekend but we had a great time. Courtney had a soccer tournament in San Diego so we came down here and enjoyed the weekend. Thanksgiving day we went to the beach, drove by the San Diego temple since it wasn't opened and went to a movie. For dinner we went to Home Town Buffet. It was OK but definetly not a home cooked meal. The sad thing was no leftovers or pies.
That night at the hotel Courtney's team had pies so we did get our tradional Pecan, Chocolate and Pumpkin Pie. Of course the hardest thing was no Mitch. Very strange. But I am so thankful that he is were he should be doing the Lord's work and enjoying it. Monday he is leaving for Mexico and he can hardly wait.
Courtney's team did very well considering they were playing the top teams in Califonia. They didn't win but all three games were very close. They lost by 1-0. It was very cold, rainy and wet. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures because we didn't wanna get the camara wet.
Sad but true these are the best pictures we took. Eric does have some of the temple on his camara. It is a beautiful temple and I have a goal to come down and go through it. Maybe this summer when I take Courtney to the American Girl Doll store. We shall see.
