Puebla Mexico

I am so proud of Mitch and am so very excited from him. The next 3 months are going to go by so fast. He is so excited and has prepared and waited for this day his whole life. I know he will make an amazing missionary.
I want to post a little about a mission for my non-LDS friends because we take for granted everyone understands what it is.
Mitch will leave for the MTC (missionary training center) on Sept. 30. He will then be in missionaray school to learn his language and about the area he will serve in for 9 weeks. After that he will go into the mission field to teach about Jesus Christ. He will have a companion who he will be with 24/7. He will become his best friend along with his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Together they will travel around the area they are called to teach in. They will be walking and knocking on doors and just basically sharing the gospel.
It is so scary to let him go but I know that he is doing what his Father in Heaven would have him do. It will be an amazing, hard and major growing experience.
I am feeling proud, scared, excited and a million different emotions I had no clue about. As a Mom I know Mitch will be the best missionary ever. I know that he has a very strong testimony of Jesus Christ. He is and will continue to be a great example to me.
Thanks to all of my friends, his friends and my family. I know you have all helped him to become the Man he is today.
I love you son.

Noah and I could not be more excited about this news!! One of Noah's best freinds went there so I know he is really excited to talk to him. Noah was bummed he couldn't be there last night but I'm sure it was an amazing night. You are so right...the next few months will fly by. But I know you all will make it the greatest next 3 months. Congrats Mitch!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! What an exciting adventure Mitch will have. 2 years will fly by and he will be home before you know it Brenda. (Don't know about becoming best friends with his comp though. Sometimes we have some to teach us patience and tolerance.) Best of luck, Mitch.

Are you just DYING? I'm so excited for him and to hear all sorts of updates through you, but HOLY COW!!! It has a place and a date now. I think we need to go out to eat and gorge on lots of fatty foods.

I just hate that you are so far away and I can't really share in all the excitement of your life right now. I love you. Thanks so much for sharing your stories with me. Blast it all my eyes are leaking. I guess I better go take care of that.
