I was very nervous in the beginning to think I am going camping with girls and women for an entire week. No Eric or sons to remind me to relax and chill.
I am always nervous to do things out of my everyday ordinary schedule but I am always so grateful when I do. It was such an awesome experience. I forget how much I love the mountains, hiking and camping. It is so peaceful and beautiful. I had some very special moments and memories that reminded me of my Grandfather. He was like a father to me and my best friend. I miss him so much. He taught me of my love for hiking and the mountains.
It was fun to have Megan with me. She is so positive and helps me remember to see the good in everyone. Thanks Megs for your love and patience.
We did service while we were there and the girls had to make a 5 footfire line around the stake perimeter. Our girls worked very hard and did an awesome job.
The girls were awesome and kept me laughing. I love the YW, their special personalities, and the love and acceptance they show me.
It was great seeing my trek girls and getting to know the YCL's. What an awesome, amazing great group of girls.
I want to thank all of their parents for sharing them with me for a week but mostly all you girls who gave me hugs and support.
