Friday night we had friends over and we went trick-or-treating and over to a couple of haunted house. We then played the donut game and dunked for apples. It was a lot of fun. The kids thought it was very cool to make carmel apples. My kids are deprived or something, they thought it was so amazing. My Mom always has a huge halloween party for the kids at her house with all the cousins. It is awesome and I feel sad that my kids have missed out on that family tradition. Thanks to the ward members and their haunted houses we have created our own traditions by going to their haunted houses. I think the kids went through at least 4 times and didn't even want the candy. Thanks for helping us create are own tradition by hitting the ward haunted houses.
Eric missed out, unfortunatly, he went to Utah to put an engine in my nieces car and we really missed him. He is such a good guy.
Morgan also missed out. Due to band he had to go to the game Friday night and Saturday to Tucson for U of A Band Day. They did a great job and this next weekend will be his final performance and competition at Glendale Community College.
He is really looking forward to a free weekend.
Mitch worked, had friends over to play Guitar Hero World Tour, and went to a friends youth conference.
Saturday was the Fall Festival at our school and Courtney and Kyle had a blast playing games and running around with friends while Mom got dunked in the Dunk Tank. Needless to say neither Kyle and Courtney were able to dunk here. HAHA
It was regional conference at church and after a rocky start with the speakers talking in spanish to trying to get the audio hooked up correctly it was nice to hear such a wonderful talk by President Packer.
After church we went to my brother Lyle and Ada's for house dinner. What a wonderful end to a crazy weekend.
Oh yeah, and I didn't have my camara so I will post halloween pictures when my awesome friends give me some. Thanks Trudy and Sandy

I was going to die when the speakers were in Spanish. I had spent so long trying to keep my kids quiet and then they just lost it!
Glad you had a good weekend.
Sounds like a crazy weekend. Love the new picture up top.
Oh I am homesick for Arizona and our ward...these holidays are going to be the hardest to adjust to new traditions. We miss the haunted houses this year. No one that I saw did them here. I might have to try and do one next year!

That stinks you guys miss out on your family's traditions...but at least we get to have you here with us! We loved having Mitch and his friends be the paparazzi for our party! They did so great. We really need to get something over to him for a thank you!
Dunked for apples? Do you mean when you float apples in water and try and 'bite' them out of the bin...? Thats a great fete game in England...be funny if thats what you mean....
