Ok, I don't claim to be a good blogger and I really wasn't quite sure how to post so many pics. I copy and pasted some so I couldn't figure out how to make them bigger. Nicole showed me but I can't remember. So here are the pics and my thoughts I hope it all makes sense. It was an awesome experience and one I can't put into words. Probably my favorite thing was going to Mary Poppins. I love theatre and the talent and scenery just amazes me. Some moments were very surreal, 0thers just fun to be with my sister and neices. With all the traveling I have done lately and seeing so many different people, families and values it has really made me stop and ponder what is most important in my life. I love having these reality checks. I did get quite homesick and sad when I stopped to think of what I was missing here. The primary program, which I heard was amazing. Great job girls! A soccer tournament that didn't go so well (Courtney doesn't sleep so well with Mom gone). Morgan in a drumline competition. They are ranked #1 in Utah and will have a competition here in AZ in the next couple of weeks. Mitch working and helping Eric fix broken cars, in between playing taxi and going to the lake. and Kyle in soccer playoffs for Jr. High. Boy did I feel like a neglectful parent. But, with such a great family they gave me a weekend off. I am so blessed.
View of Time Square. I could not believe all the people everywhere.

View from the Empire State Building. What a view and I hate heights. We rode an elevator up 80 floors. It was a very fast elevator and then we hiked the remaining 6. I have never walked so much in my life.

Statue of Liberty. We were lucky enough to go inside and stand at the base. Also, read a lot of information on how she was built. I was very impressed.

Who doesn't love M&M's. Me, Lisa, Cassidy, Megan and Nicole

Ground zero.

This is a picture of the front of the NYC temple. You walk through the doors and there was silence. It was amazing.

This is a picture from the Museum of Natural History. Parts of the Movie, "Night at the Museum" was filmed here. There was an entire section dedicated in trying to convince me of how we came from monkeys. WOW
What can I say but it was so fun. With elections so near to go to the places I went and be reminded of our freedoms and the sacrifices that have been made for me cannot be put into words. I love America. I pray that with the upcoming elections the decisions that we make will turn out for the best. I am grateful for my freedom of choice, religion, and the opportunity to live the life I live.

I'm glad you had so much fun! Fall in NYC is the best! You deserved a nice break, and I'm sure your family held down the fort quite nicely.
