As a Mom it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Mitch was so excited and just wanted to get out and serve. I know with all my heart that he is doing what he wants to do. I am so very proud of him. I know that my Savior loves me and will keep Mitch safe until it is time for his return home. I am greatful that Mitch has chosen to give just a short time of his life to the Savior. He wants to share with others his love of the Savior. What a great opportunity. Mom's want whats best for their children so even if it is the hardest thing ever how could I deny him this opportunity.
I want to thank all of our friends and family for there love, support and prayers. Mitch was very pleased to see how many people cared. You are all amazing. Thanks for loving the Janda's.
If you want to send him a letter here is address. He will be in the MTC until November 30th.

Just a handshake for Mom and a yummy ice cream sundae before he entered the MTC.
They took him almost before I could get a hug. Just wrong.

Good job, Brenda! You are an amazing mom with an amazing family! I can't wait to hear about all of Mitch's adventures on his mission. We are going to miss him so much!
I really can't believe it is really happening!! You have the best family any one could ask for. We look up to you guys so much. We have been thinking about Mitch lately and are so sad we could not be at the farwell. I'm sure it was amazing. Just thinking about it and the Cooper ward makes me want to cry. He is going to be an amazing missionary. Hang in there! Love you guys!
Great pictures, but man they make me sad. I'm glad you survived. I don't know how, but you made it. Here's crossing my fingers that the next 2 years FLY by!
I'm so glad you guys are our family, what a great example you guys are to me and my kids. We will all miss him terribly!!
This is so exciting! It is way easier to look back than forward but I truly am jealous. There is nothing better than having a missionary in the family. I promise!
Wow, what a big day!! Missionaries just make me so happy and proud. They are truly amazing, and Mitch will make one incredible missionary.
