And here is the broken wrist. If anyone has a good orthopedic surgeon or a ENT doc they really like please let me know.
I think it is quite humorous that out of my children, lacrosse player, soccer player, and Kyle who does it all, my one child who plays piano and drums is the only one who seems to break bones in this family. Can anyone explain that? For all you protective Mom's who think sports are to dangerous need to reevaluate. JK
I also find it quite funny that we travel 12 hours to play in the snow, ski and sled with family, no injuries, and we come back to safe territory and that is when we get the broken bones. Life is a constant guessing game.
Anyway, my sick boy, (thanks Brother Fetter for giving up your warm, cozy sleeping bag), and my broken boy are doing quite well this morning and they did have blast. If truth be told Morgan probably would have stayed if he wasn't so sure it was broken. The kid doesn't complain. When the doctor asked him what his pain was he said a 2. That was on a scale of 1-10. So for those who question the bone on his elbow I never knew he was hurt when he was little. True story!
Thanks to the families that gave up your hubbies for the weekend, I know it's a sacrifice. My boys think they have the best leaders ever and as parents we know it is a sacrifice.
