Eric's family came and hang out for the day. It started a little rocky when I couldn't find pie tins and I had promised Courtney and Kyle we would make pies. We found two and did have fun. Got up early to start the turkey since everything I read said it takes 6 hours for the size I had. Needless to say it cooked in 3 1/2 hours so we had to move dinner up 1 hour but could have even gone earlier. We had an early dinner and played games and just sat around and relaxed. What a great day. I relexed so much I would forget to take pictures. Here are a few I did get. I hope all of you had a wonderful day also.
PREPARING, thanks to all my family for helping me with a very delicious dinner.

Derek admiring the good stuff.

Mitch enjoying to the good stuff.

I have to say Thanksgiving is one my most favorite holidays. A day to just eat, relax with family and hang out. Not often we take days to just do absolutely nothing. This past month I have had a lot of different experiences to remind just how important the simple things are. My kids, my friends, my extended family and most important my husband who loves me unconditionally. Thanks Eric for making my life wonderful.
